Zodiak Radio’s Kazako accepts mk20 million bribe to promote Joyce Banda

Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) Chief executive Gospel Kazako has received a MK20 million bribe from President Joyce Banda. Joyce Banda has paid the money to ensure that the highly influential and formerly independent radio station can support and build up her popularity.

Kazako received the money at the State House recently, which he has since shared with Pilirani Phiri. Pilirani Phiri has taken MK10 million of the money to ensure that his highly rated programme “Tiuzeni Zoona” on ZBS is used to promote the agenda of Joyce Banda and her Peoples Party.

Recently, an announcement by ZBS that the radio station will begin to cover all Joyce Banda activities live shocked many as this is already done by state broadcaster MBC. Rumours abound that Kazako has political aspirations and has been promised the Vice President position on a PP presidential ticket for 2014 elections.
