Exposed!! Chimunthu Banda received money from PP to divide DPP

Reports reaching us indicate that Speaker of Parliament Henry Chimunthu who has shown interest to contest against Prof Peter Mutharika at the DPP convention slated for April, has had meetings with the state president at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe on several occasions.

A source who is part of Chimunthu Banda’s campaign team has revealed that during one of their meetings money exchanged hands with Joyce Banda promising Chimunthu that once he defeats Prof Peter Mutharika at the convention he will be given the running mate in a PP/DPP coalition in 2014.

Meanwhile most PP MPs have been instructed to be shouting “Boma boma” to Chimunthu every time he is entering or exiting the August house and they are doing exactly that.

“JB is so desperate to win votes in 2014 because she knows that people don’t like her so she is working on several strategies that would win her votes” said our source.

There are reports also that the President is pondering on not contesting for the presidency in 2014.
