“I am not dead” says comedian Eric Mabedi

Comedian Eric Mabedi, popularly known as Jakobo has expressed shock over rumours that he has died.

Some Malawians on social networks were circulating the news upon learning of Mabedi’s illness and admission at Mwaiwathu Hospital in Blantyre.

“I have just heard it now that some people were spreading information that I was dead. I am shocked really, why do people do that?,” wondered Mabedi.

He has since been discharged and is well at home.

“I am out now, at the moment I am home. I just want to praise God for His favours,” said Mabedi.

Mabedi has for a long time been in the limelight starring as Izeki and Jakobo with his colleague John Nyanga.

He was admitted at the hospital after his sugar levels went up and had to undergo a minor surgery on the leg.
