In an attempt to ease housing problems faced by the country’s law enforcers, government says it is still looking for funds to help in the construction of over 1,000 houses across Malawi.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Home Affairs and Internal Security Minister Uladi Mussa expressed optimism that appropriate donors will be identified to implement the housing project.
The Minister’s remarks at a time when police officers at Mitole Police Mobile service in Chikhwawa are living in dilapidated tiny houses which force others to stay in rented houses.
