JB pens energy deal with China addressing the problems of our country’s inadequate capacity to generate electricity and intermittent supply

I am delighted that the signing of the two agreements with the Chinese energy giants will go a long way to addressing the problems of our country’s inadequate capacity to generate electricity and intermittent supply.

This will help us to go ahead with mining projects in certain areas where there are real prospects of gold and other highly valued minerals including the exploration of Heavy Metal sands in Makanjira area in Mangochi which will create several employment and business opportunities for our citizens .

I therefore urge all of us to continue working together for the betterment of our nation. Together we will go far!
