Sergent Simon Katonda, a police officer who was working at Chezi Police Unit in Dowa is in police custody for killing a man by shooting him in the stomach.

The man had come to Chezi Police Station together with his relatives to register a case that some unknown people had stolen their goats

It was then at this moment that the Sergent took his gun and shot the complainant in the stomach
