JBF and Matindi girls leave for Nigeria

Joyce Banda Foundation Football team and Matindi Girls Football team are flying off to Nigeria for the Airtel Rising Stars Football contest for Secondary Schools.

According to information sourced from Airtel facebook page, the two teams are expected to leave Malawi for the West African nation this Saturday.

The two teams will represent Malawi having emerged champions at national level in men and ladies football respectively. They will be there for eleven days.

With the national football team having not performed so well not even a week ago in Nigeria, one can only hope that the two teams will take the flag of the nation higher.
