KB soldiers punish Moyale Barracks soldiers

The military men of Kamuzu Barracks in the capital city took their football lessons to the North where they defeated the soldiers of Moyale Barracks at their own backyard (the North) in the Carlsberg Cup finals.

A goal from Kamuzu Barracks’ Harvey Mkacha was all the Lilongwe based soldiers needed to silence the guns of their opponents in the North. The goal was scored in the early minutes of the second half. Mkacha is also the current top goal scorer of the Super League of Malawi with six goals which is now on recess awaiting to enter into the second round.

The future of the cup, however, lies in limbo after some incidences of violence were registered in the course of the cup.
