Tanzania attacking Malawians

They might have denied it in the media, might have threatened to take a legal course to make sure that there name is not put into good light but reports emerging from Tanzania indicate that Malawians are still being targeted in Tanzania in a possible case of Xenophobia.

The development comes hot on the heels of a disagreement over the ownership of Lake Malawi which Tanzania claims it owns part of it while Malawi, on the other hand, claims it owns the whole lake.

Meanwhile, over 300 Malawians have fled Tanzania and are stranded in the Northern region city of Mzuzu claiming they were being harassment from community and security authorities.

The Tanzanian government denied targeting Malawians last week after a local newspaper raised the same fears. It is yet to be seen how they will respond to this truth.
