Dan Lu joins Nkasa, Soldier

Urban and Pop musician who is now linked to a South African record deal has found some new partners in Joseph Nkasa and Soldier Lucius Banda among other musicians who toed their careers on the path of praise and worshiping politicians.

Dan Lu, made famous by the hit Shuppie before consequently being catapulted to a greater fame by such tracks as Part of life, has released his own political song – PP Yanyamuka.

As the title of the song suggests, the Uhule ndi mtima star has joined the praise group of President Joyce Banda. The song compares the reign of President Banda to that of late Mutharika, the last days of his Presidency when it was marred by shortages of everything, even human rights.

Dan Lu is not the only musician to sing in praise of political masters as there also has been the veteran Lucius Banda who has done much tracks for the Yellow colour and UDF as well as Joseph Nkasa who has moved a lot across the political spectrum singing for political leaders with now being associated with PPM’s Mark Katsonga.
