NAMPACK HEADS ON AFTER RE-BRANDING

One of the country’s leading packaging companies has described as exciting the market response it has gotten since its name-change.
Formerly Packaging Industry Malawi Limited the company re-branded to Nampack seven months ago after being bought-off by a South African conglomerate.
And speaking in an interview seven months down the line since its name-change, marketing manager Nyakoko Nsona has told Journalists that the rebranding has worked magic on the market as their customers are able to access international quality products on the local market.
“We have seen a growth of business potential since our rebranding earlier in the year; we are now able to offer other products with assistance from our parent company there by enabling the local customers who were importing such products from South Africa.
We also hope that this excitement will continue as the company settles with the new brand.” Said Nyakoko msona at a cocktail party the company organized in Blantyre.
PIM successfully delisted at the Malawi stock exchange in 2011 following the Nampack’s acquisition of a 100% share holding in the company.
