MALAWIANS DEMANDS HEALTH MINISTER RESIGNATION

There are widespread calls  from the general public for the Minister of Health Catherine Gotani Hara to resign following the closure of a mortuary at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe.

Things got out of hand on Monday at  the hospital as people were left stranded with dead bodies on their hands.

The development attracted outrage from the citizenry directed at the government with many in the social media calling for the minister responsible Gotani Hara to step down saying she has failed to bring the much transformation to the country’s  health system.

No one from the ministry was available for comment.

But in statement, the ministry of health spokesperson Henry Chimbali said the authorities are doing whatever they can to make sure that the situation is normalized.
