The ruling People’s Party (PP) Presidential running mate Sosten Gwengwe has describe his appointment as a golden opportunity for the party ahead of May election.
He said this during a campaign rally held on Tuesday by the party in Nkhotatkota.
In his speech Gwengwe said President Joyce Banda did not make mistake like what other opposition political parties did by just picking a young man to be the running mate.
“You did not make any mistake by picking me as your running-mate in the May 20 elections. Other youths in other political parties have not encountered any challenges like I have, I was taking roasted maize to school. I am positioned to assist my fellow young people looking at my poverty back ground” said Gwengwe.
He said this while attacking Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) running mate Saulos Chilima as a person who lacks experience in politics
This is not the first time Gwengwe was spotted praising himself.
