The ruling People’s Party (PP) Presidential Candidate Sosten Gwengwe risk losing his seat as Member of Parliament for Dedza Central to Malawi Congess Party (MCP) aspiring Member of Parliament Daniel Chiwere who is currently leading from the votes counted.
Gwengwe who is the running mate to President Joyce Banda is second with 10,446 and the leading MCP candidate is having 16,410.
The unofficial results are from three quotes’ of the centres in Dedza Central.
Meanwhile Minister of Tourism in the ruling People’s Party (PP) Moses Nkunkuyu who is contesting in Dedza South is also slowly counting himself out as he is having 13,174 against MCP candidate who is having 30,000.
