MEC POSTPONE PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS

Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has postpone the Parliamentary election for Blantyre North Constituency following the death of Malawi Congress Party  (MCP) candidate Chester Mulli.

Mulli died over the Weekend.

According to the letter released by MEC signed by Sangwani Mafulirwa said the by-election for the constituency will be held after the forthcoming tripartite election in a date to be announced.

MEC also recently postponed the elections for two wards  which are Machinga and Ntcheu district due to death of the aspirants
