NSANJE CENTRAL FOR PETER MUTHARIKA

As the title race for the high office in the first ever tripartite election seems to lie in four Presidential torchbearers of Malawi Congress Party (MCP), People’s Party (PP), United Democratic Front (UDF) and Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), unofficial results from Nsanje Central shows that Peter Mutharika of DPP is leading.

According to Face of Malawi reporter, Mutharika  is leading by 6988 from 20 centres seconded by the ruling PP Presidential torchbearer  Dr Joyce Banda who is having 2422 while Atupele Muluzi is coming third with 1349.

This is the first test for all four Presidential hopefuls.

Meanwhile voting is still in progress in some centers.
