Barely five days after Princess Chitsulo’s gospel fundraising show at Comesa Hall , it has been revealed that the artist is yet to leave for South Africa for treatment.
The show was organized to raise funds for the singer who is having a heart problem.
In an interview with one of the local media, Chitsulo praised Malawians who graced the event.
“At the moment I would say the money is enough to take me to South Africa for treatment. Of course I have not managed to get the full statement from the bank because since the performance I have not been well.
“Of course there were some expenses during the concert but the money that was banked was around K1.7 million. There were also pledges which were made which totaled almost K800,000 and so the money is enough. I just need to make consultations and also balance up the money before I can leave but it will be soon”, she said.
The heart problem has seen the artist been dormant in the gospel industry.
