Parliament is scheduled to start meeting next Tuesday for the 2014-2015 budget and President Peter Mutharika is expected to open the house with a state of national address.
Malawi Congress Party legislator Joseph Njovuyalema said Members of Parliament are expecting parliament to table all outstanding issues including a report by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament into
the looting of government resources at the Capitol Hill in Lilongwe.
The looting case which was dubbed cash-gate was not deliberated in parliament due to delays of government departments in preparing reports and facts.
Peter said during his inauguration that his administration will make sure all those who were involved in the wrong doing in this case are being punished by the law.
