116 TEACHERS COLLEGE STUDENTS REINSTATED

High Court in Lilongwe has ordered St Joseph Teachers Training College in Dedza not expelling 116 Students until the conflict between the two side is reviewed.

Effectively, the injunction granted by the High Court means that the Student will now be free to sit for examinations which is scheduled to begin on July 28, 2014.

On his part, College Board Chairman Father Dominic Kamzingatchire despite the ruling, the College still maintains that the student teachers were expelled for the violating the College rules.

Last month, the student teachers of the College matched to the office of District Education Manager in protest against delay Stationary allowance.
