FLAMES U-20 TO LEAVE FOR ZAMBIA TODAY

Flames under 20 National Team is expected to leave the country today for Zambia where they will play Zambia under 20 for their 2nd leg African Youth Championship in Ndola.

The Junior Flames has included Blue Eagles’ forward Shumaker Kuwali in the squad that has almost maintained the same old faces. Isaac Kaliyati, Chawanangwa Kawonga, Isaac Mwale, Precious Msosa, Boston Kabango, Stain Sanudi, Dalitso Sailesi, Abraham Kamwendo, Bright Munthari, Moses Scot and Miracle Gabeya are some of the notable faces that have made it into the squad again.

The players will be hoping to overturn a 2-1 deficit if they are to qualify for the finals in Senegal next year.

The junior teams Head Coach, Enerst Mtawali, remains optimistic that his charges will do wonders in Zambia.

“It will not be easy but the inclusion of Kuwali will add the much needed fire power up front and am sure we can score the two goals while trying not to concede.

They managed to score two goals, we can do the same to them too,”he concluded.
