GUARD MURDERED BY UNKNOWN THUGS IN LL

Unknown thugs in Lilongwe have attacked and killed a guard at Katantha Trading Centre in area 36.

Lilongwe Police Deputy Public Relations Officer, Maggie Selemani confirmed of the development and identified the deceased as Yohane Sayilota, 44, from Katantha Village in Traditional Authority (TA) Tsabango in Lilongwe.

According to the police, the deceased was killed between the night of 24th and 25 August, 2014 while guarding a shop at the Trading Centre.

“The robbers tied up the guard first and then stabbed him twice”, She said.

Postmortem conducted at Kamuzu Central Hospital revealed that the deceased died due to excessive loss of blood.

Meanwhile no one has been arrested as the unknown thugs are still at large.
