STRANGE PEOPLE THREATENS CHRIST BELIEVERS IN SOCHE MOUNTAIN

The scripture says in Mathew 7 verse 7 “Continue to ask and God will give you. Continue to search, and you will find. Continue to knock, and the door will open for you”. This is the reason many Jesus Christ’s believers are today praying and singing praising songs to ease their challenges which among others are financial and marriages.

Such mentioned praying items above, sometimes become difficult to let them go with home or church prayers only. Others need fasting and praying. This is the reason Soche Mountain in Blantyre has become a praying centre to thousands of Christ believers during day light, night and everyday from different districts in the southern region of Malawi.

It is normal to hear someone saying ‘Soche is a blessed mountain’. Through the guidance and presence of the Holy Spirit, God answers to many praying requests in this mountain. This keeps some believers to spend couple of days, nights and months praying to God.

In the process to be answered to their praying requests, a sudden threat happened Tuesday night when a group of men carrying panga knives in their hands threatened and demolished curves used by prayer eagles to prevent themselves from cold, sunny and rainy weather in the mountain.

The attackers were claiming to have been searching for thugs who are stealing properties of residences of Chimwankhunda, Manja, Nkolokosa, Chilobwe and the surrounding.

One of the demolished curve on Tuesday was of a Church Pastor from Mulanje district who told FaceofMalawi that he has been coming for prayers in this mountain for 9 years but this is the first time him to face this challenge, hence, it is God’s victory.

Soche mountain was full of natural trees making good shelter for people who come for prayers but people from surrounding location cut down 80% of the trees leaving people praying on sunny.
