Unknown thugs have robbed a Nsanje based businessman identified as Enock Kanyimbiri money amounting to MK7 million.
The development comes just barely days after unknown armed robbers in the same district invaded Fatima Opportunity International Bank of Malawi (OIBM) and went away with money amounting to MK6 million.
Nsanje Police Officer In Charge Senior Assistant Commissioner Sekani Tembo confirmed of the development in an interview with FaceofMalawi.
According to Tembo, the alleged thugs attacked Kanyimbiri on Tuesday night at his Warehouse in the area of Chief Tengani in the district where he slept.
According to reliable sources close to the scene, the money stolen is the chunk which the trader (Kanyimbiri) had just received from his driver which he wanted to use to buy agricultural produce from Tengani farmers.
Meanwhile no one has been arrested in connection with the matter.
