Malawi government has announced that the printing of passports will no longer be done at Blantyre only but rather in Lilongwe and Mzuzu as well.

Government also say Malawians will be able to access passport forms, submit filled and processed passport forms at Post Offices across the country.

Additionally, people will not have to travel to Blantyre or Mzuzu or Lilongwe Immigration offices to collect their printed passports, but will have to do so at the post office they submitted their forms

“If you submitted your passport forms at a post office in Nsanje, Mwanza or Balaka, you will get the passports there and save the transport,” an official from OPC has disclosed.
