Machinjiri Magistrate Court has sentenced a Mr Jumbe to 10 years imprisonment with hard labour for defiling his stepdaughter and infecting her with HIV virus.
The court sentenced Mr Jumbe to 10 years after the accused pleaded guilty to the offence.
Jumbe a guard working for Cable Manufacturers limited in chirimba, defiled his 8 years old stepdaughter.
Jumbe who is HIV positive was caught in the act by his wife who reported him to police.
He later admitted in court that defiled the child once and not four time as alleged by the victim.
