SUSPECT ESCAPE FROM COURT DOCK

Court proceedings came to a standstill on Monday at the Nsanje Magistrate court after a man identified as Misheck Kaudzu, jumped out of the dock and started running away after presiding magistrate denied him bail.

Kaudzu, 21, hails from Kaudzu Village in the area of Traditional Authority Ngabu, Nsanje district and was arrested on suspicion that he stole five cattle.

Information sourced by FaceofMalawi indicated that Kaudzu’s decision arises after the First Grade Magistrate George Chimombo ruled that he has the case to answer and he has to spend more days in police custody before bail.

Kaudzu decision to escape proved futile as he was later apprehended.
