MOB JUSTICE; ANGRY RESIDENCE IN LL SET ABLAZE SUSPECTED THIEF

Unconfirmed reports reaching FaceofMalawi indicates that angry residents in Lilongwe few hours ago took the law into their own hands by setting ablaze a suspected thief.

According to an eye witness who opted for condition of anonymity said the thief is alleged to have stolen a phone belong to a Woman of the same area.

The man whose identities are not known is said to have been seen by guards who then alerted the people and upon catching him, they set him on fire.

Of late, thugs in the country have been on rampage causing havoc in the communities, making Malawians to leave in perpetual fear.

Despite assurance from President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika during a Public rally held recently that his government will do whatever it can to make sure that peace and stability is returned in the country, nothing seems to be done.
