SKEFFA CHIMOTO NOT A SAINT AFTER ALL

Music lovers in the country who recently patronized Skeffa Chimoto’s DVD launch in the three regions of Malawi have cried foul over Chimoto’s low quality free DVDs distributed during his show.

Chimoto pledged free DVDs for everyone to attend his launch in all venues.

But to the surprise of individuals who flocked to the venues to get the free DVD, it was of a low quality burned copy and hand written the singer’s name.

Sources who confided to FaceofMalawi could not hide their anger but express concerns over the unfair act that ‘Chinamula chakuda’ star did considering the amount they were charged for the show.

According to information found, the burned DVDs did not please music lovers at the launch especially at Robins Pack in Blantyre where people wanted something that Chimoto is worthy of looking at his.

One of the sources complained how an artist who have been moaning and groaning over piracy could give such burned DVDs that can be purchased at a very cheap price as low as MK 3, 00.

Earlier this year, Chimoto made headlines in the media accusing burning centers including social media of promoting piracy in the country.
