This year’s Festive Season is a special one because this year we marked 50 years of our independence as a nation.
It is a birth of a new chapter for our beloved nation, a nation that has to mature.
This is what makes this Festive Season a special one as it delivers a big message to us all living in a nation at 50.
In the spirit of Christmas, I would like us to reflect on the big message behind Christmas.
It is a call to each one of us to be a better neighbour, a better brother, a better sister, a better parent, a better civil servant or worker, a better clergy, a better chief, a better subject and above all a better citizen of this country.
If you take a look at what has happened with our economy which has been riddled by the infamous cashgate, you can surely be with me in the call for a better Malawi. A Malawi that is full of love for one another and our nation.
We are facing all these economic hurdles because of lack of love for one another.
Remember we are in this situation but for a while, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
