MPINGANJIRA TAKESOVER AS PRESIDENT OF JOYCE BANDA'S PP

Politician turned Political Evangelist, Brown pingajira has taken over the Presidency of Joyce Banda”s Peoples Party due to her prolonged absence from the country. It has been over three months since Joyce Banda was in Malawi causing many to speculate that the former Malawi President is on the run following the DPP governments willingness to prosecute all suspects in the Cashgate scandal.

Joyce Banda, Malawi”s 1st female president has denied any wrongdoing in the cashgate scandal even though she has been implicated by her former golden boy Oswald Lutepo. According to her camp, she has been away only on a philanthropy tour and has no fear of what the ACB and relevant authorities plan to do regarding the corruption scandal she presided over.

Peoples Party spokesman Ken Msonda revealed Mpinganjira”s takeover as well as the appointement of Ibrahim Matola as the party”s new secretary general. Joyce Banda is expected to return early next year but the leadership void has obviously further weakened her party facing a strong fight for survival since her ouster as president in May 2014.
