Malawi’s female representative at this year’s Big Brother Africa show dubbed hotshot Sipe, is expected to arrive in the country today Wednesday December 10 2014 through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA).
Sipe, whose real name is Siphelire Chitambo was among the eight finalists in the just ended reality show.
Mult Choice Malawi Marketing Manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda confirmed of the development in an interview with the Press.
Sipe will later address a Press Conference at Sunbird Capital Hotel.
Meanwhile homecoming parties have been organised in Blantyre and Lilongwe cities.
On Friday, December 12, Amazon (formally Nzanzi) in Lilongwe will be the first venue, with Blantyre’s Blue Elephant coming last on Saturday night. People will have to cough 1,500 kwacha for tickets for both shows.
Tanzania’s Idris Sultan was crowned the eventual winner on Sunday of this year’s show claiming the $300,000 grand prize. He became the second Tanzanian to win in the reality show after Richard, who was the winner in BBA II.
Sipe, who was the fifth to be evicted, received one country vote from Malawi.
