As the Mwaiwathu sex saga comes near a conclusion Blantyre Water Board (BWB) internal auditor and a woman accused of sexual activity at Mwaiwathu hospital car park on Tuesday pleaded guilty to the robust act when they appeared before Blantyre Magistrate Court.
Thokozani Maulwa 26, a BWB employee and 20-year-old Emma Peter were caught by a night-shift guard while in the act in a Nissan Tida BU 2489 parked at the Hospital’s car lot in the wee hours of Monday morning.
The two after appearing before Principal Resident Magistrate, Innocent Nebi at Blantyre Magistrates Court were tried and convicted on their own plea and were charged with Idle and Disorderly under Section 180 of the Penal Code.
The offence attracts a maximum fine of K1, 000 in default three months imprisonment with hard labour (IHL) for first offenders and K3000 or six months IHL for subsequent offenders.
