President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika is expected to return home this Saturday from the United States of America where he attended this year’s International Conservation Caucus held in Washington DC where he was also the guest speaker.
This has been disclosed in a Press Statement from the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) signed by the newly appointed Presidential Press Secretary Gerald Viola.
While in USA, Mutharika also engaged in a lot of bilateral and multilateral talks with different leaders of the World ranging from Government to Industrial leaders.
MUtharika also held talks on the Nsanje World Inland Port. The President also lobbied more companies to join the Malawi tobacco buying market.
The President’s plane is expected to land at Kamuzu International Airport at 12 O’clock mid-day.
