Barely a month after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal killing about 8, 000 people, another disastrous quake has hit the country yet.

BBC reports that a magnitude 7.3 earthquake struck Nepal on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 near the town of Namche Bazar, near Mount Everest.

The U.S. Geological Survey said, people scampered for safety by running out of buildings in the capital Kathmandu and shaking structures in the Indian capital at about 12:35 local time (07:50 GMT).

“This is a really big one,” said Prakash Shilpakar, the owner of a handicrafts shop in Kathmandu who was trying to call his parents in the town of Bhaktapur, devastated in the April 25 quake.
