MEC POLL REPORT CONDEMNS MBC OF BEING BIAS

The longer much awaited poll report released by Malawi Electoral Commission on 20 may 2014 elections has criticized state broadcaster Malawi Broadcasting (MBC) Corporation of failing to provide equal coverage to electoral parties more especially opposition side
The report has indicated that the MBC was bias towards the ruling people’s party (pp) and its associates

In order to bring things to light MEC held two meeting with board of management of Malawi broadcasting corporation. The first meting was held on 4 April 2014 at MEC head offices .The meting was aimed at finding ways on how the state broadcaster MBC could treat all players in election equally. The

MBC failed to give equal coverage and was bias towards the ruling people’s party (PP) and its partners” leads part of the report.
