Lukas Tsoka age 16 from Chipokosa village Traditional authority Kalumo in Ntchisi district has committed suicide by hanging after he failed to trace unknown thieves that broke into his shop.
According to the deceased brother Mkatiseka Phiri, Tsoka complained that his money amounting to MK 21 000.00 was stolen from his shop.
Since that day he was looking troubled until on 10 august 2015 when he stayed indoors.
“He later left the house around 18:00hrs. He did not return until he was discovered hanging up in a tree on 11 august 2015”. Said Phiri.
The matter was reported to the police and they visited the scene together with the clinical officer. Remedial was conducted and it revealed that death was due to stangulation.
No arrest has been made so far, according to Ntchisi Police Publicist, Gladson M’bumpha.
