#GUESS THE ACTRESS NO MORE-‘DRUG BUST ACTRESS’IN COURT

The identity of the South African actress who was bust with drugs at the O.R. Tambo Airport on Sunday was revealed when the woman appeared in court on Tuesday morning.

Ottilia Mmatjatji Malatji‚ 29‚ appeared briefly in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court in Johannesburg. Her case was postponed to October 7 for a bail application and she remains in custody.

Social media was abuzz on Monday with speculation about the identity of the woman‚ who could not be named until she appeared in court.

South African Revenue Service spokesman Luther Lebelo said on Monday that an actress was arrested after about 15kg of ephedrine‚ worth about R4.6-million‚ was found in her luggage. She had flown in from Abu Dhabi.

Lebelo said the woman had held supporting roles in local television soaps such as e.tv’s Scandal!‚ SABC3’s Isidingo and SABC1’s Skeem Saam.

Police spokesman Brigadier Vishnu Naidoo said the woman was not a celebrity but had only appeared as an extra in television shows.
