Cashgate convict Oswald Lutepo has for the second time implicated former President Dr. Joyce Banda in the plunder of public funds dubbed cashgate, saying Banda used him to siphon MK4.2 billion.
Lutepo said this when he was addressing the press at Zomba High Court this morning ahead of his sentencing.
“Joyce Banda already knows that she used me. I can’t start explaining things that she already knows. She knows how she used me.
“My message to Joyce Banda is that she has to know that love is more important than anything else. Using someone is a sign of lack of love,” said Lutepo.
Coming to his case, Lutepo said he is ready for whatever ruling Judge Redson Kapindu will deliver and promised to become an ambassador for the fight against corruption and crime in the country.
He also promised to fight for minority rights especially those in prison.
