President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika will on November 6 perform the State opening of the 46th Session of Parliament at Parliament Building in Lilongwe.
According to a press release from the Malawi Parliament signed by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Richard Msowoya, the function will start at 10:00 in the morning.
“The meeting will run up to 4th December, 2015 and all Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Ministers and Honourable Members of Parliament are summoned to attend the meeting in the Parliament Chamber in Lilongwe until the adjournment sine die,” reads the statement in part.
The office of the Speaker is advising all guests to be seated by 8:30 in the morning in the Parliament Chamber in Lilongwe.
