TIPS: 6 THINGS EVERY MALAWIAN MAN SHOULD KNOW ABOUT PUBLIC DISPLAY OF AFFECTION (PDA)

To most men, they would rather not engage in PDA; they see it as less manly and quite unnecessary. However women see PDA with a different mindset and the reason for their affiliation with PDA is revealed in reasons most women love PDA.

There are some things every man should know about PDA.

1. IT DOESN’T KILL YOUR MASCULINITY

Most men believe that PDA is merely a thing for women and probably for men who act like women; to them, PDA kills your masculinity terribly. But this is a misleading notion to believe in.

There is nothing wrong in publicly showing your partner that you love her in public, as far as you don’t go over the line. Being in love with someone and showing it doesn’t make you any less of a man.

2. ALMOST EVERY WOMAN LOVES PDA

Most women love PDA for various reasons, and women feel more valued when their man publicly shows that he’s really in love with her.

3. A SIGN OF HAPPINESS

Research has shown that couples who engage in PDA tend to have a happier relationship. PDA shows that you are comfortable and satisfied with each other. Couples who are proud of each other engage in PDA with minimum fuss.

4. IT’S HEALTHY

PDA acts like holding hands come with huge health benefits. Holding hands is a form of PDA men shouldn’t take for granted. A study conducted by University of Virginia psychologist, Dr James Coan found that there are hidden benefits in the fingers. His research revealed that holding hands with your partner reduces stress levels.

5. FOLLOW THE MOOD

Sometimes, PDA comes with mood, and the mood of your partner should be respected if they aren’t interested in PDA at that time. Don’t go smoochy on your partner every now and then just to show you care. Not everyone is actually comfortable with PDA, and to a certain extent that should be respected.

6. KEEP IT SIMPLE

The beauty of PDA is its simplicity; PDA doesn’t mean it should be done like the college students. You don’t have to be deeply intimate in public or be all smoochy smoochy to show that you are in love. There is no need to draw everyone’s attention when you can just keep it simple.
Every man should know that PDA isn’t the worst thing in the world; rather there is beauty in public display of affection.
