BUSHIRI DONATES MAIZE TO FAMILIES AFFECTED BY HUNGER IN ZOMBA

Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Enlightened Christian Gathering on Wednesday invaded the Southern District of Zomba where he distributed maize to families affected by hunger.

The development comes barely weeks after he also donated Maize to families affected by hunger in Ntcheu, Dowa and some parts in the Northern Region three weeks ago.

Speaking after the exercise, Bushiri said he is deeply concerned with the hunger situation in the country hence the donation.

“Hunger crisis has hit most countries in Southern Africa and Malawi has not been spared. Am urging you all to pray for people affected by this crisis in Africa.

“Lets not wait for governments to address the crisis at hand alone. Whatever you have, share with the rest and I pray that God increases all those who will take time to remember others,” said Bushiri.

Bushiri currently based in South Africa arrived in the country on Wednesday through Chileka International Airport and pledged to support the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) in all aspects of development.

Bushiri made headlines three weeks ago when he unveiled his third jet.
