Phalombe Deputy District Education Manager Godfrey Kubwese and Phalombe Police Publicist Augustus Nkhwazi confirmed the development in an interview with the press.

Kubwese verified that the thieves invaded the office at around 11 pm and stole five computers, a television screen and money amounting to K785, 000.

“We have recovered three desktop computers in a bush while two laptop computers and the television screen are still missing,” said Kubwese.
