MLS gives Kasambara cold shoulder: banned from practicing law in Malawi

It does not rain but pour on former Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs Ralph Kasambara, Senior Council, with published reports showing that he has been banned from practicing law in the country.

According a report published by Malawi Law Society (MLS), Kasambara’s name is not appealing anywhere on the accredited lawyers to represent clients in court.

The development means Kasambara is not eligible to represent or practice law film in the country.

When approached for chairman of Law Society of Malawi, John Suzi Banda could neither deny nor confirm of the development, saying only the listed lawyers will be allowed to practice law in the country.

Kasambara has always represented himself or others in a case in which him and others are accused in relation to the plundering of K30 billion of public money at Capital Hill in what is known as cashgate.

Meanwhile Kasambara is yet to comment on the matter.
