Naked protest against albino killings update: Route changed

As the countdown continues for the country to witness the first ever naked protest to be led by Mulanje South Member of Parliament Bon Kalindo against killings and abductions of persons with albinism in the country for rituals, FaceofMalawi can reveal that the route has been changed.

Kalindo will lead the naked demonstration scheduled for June 23, 2016 to force his own Party (Democratic Progressive Party) under President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika to bring back the death sentence.

Writing on his official facebook page, Billy Mayaya said the meeting with Police and DC on 23 June 2016 Demonstrations went well and the route has been change.

“Demonstrators will congregate at Area 18 Roundabout at 700 am. Will march down to City Centre roundabout .Make a uturn back to Parliament roundabout
“Turn to Parliament Building where a petition will be read and handed to Hon Kamlepo Kalua”, said Mayaya.

He added: “Thereafter demonstrators will disperse peacefully”.

Analysts say the plans for naked demonstrations reflect a society desperate for government assistance.
