Conjoined twins to undergo surgery on Wednesday

Information sourced by Faceofmalawi indicates that conjoined twins born in Nkhotakota last week will undergo a surgery at Kamuzu Central Hospital on Wednesday.

Health officials at KCH have confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying all is set for the surgery which is expected to last for five hours.

Family members when contacted on the development expressed ignorance on the matter.

The twins who are joined on the abdomen were born on Thursday last week through caesarian section.
