Two people killed in road accident in Nkhata-Bay

Two people have died while others escaped with various injuries after a mini bus they were traveling in was involved in a road accident in Nkhata Bay.

Nkhata-Bay Police officials have confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press, saying the accident happened on Tuesday.

According to the police, the registration number BR 2205, driven by Owen Phiri was travelling from Nkhata-Bay to Mzuzu and had 16 passengers on board.

Meanwhile some of the victims are receiving treatment at Nkhata-Bay District Hospital.
