Police dismisses social media mob justice video on Wame’s murder suspect

Police in Salima have dismissed video circulating in social media claiming that a houseboy who is suspected to have murdered well-known evangelist shadreck Jonas Wame has been stoned to death by angry mob.

On Monday the social media was awashed with a video showing people stoning unknown man to death, clamming that its Wame’s murder suspect.

Speaking in an interview with the press on, Salima Deputy Spokesperson Gift Chitowe dismissed the video saying the suspect is still at large.

Chitowe said Police are doing everything possible to truck down the suspect.

Meanwhile Wame was laid to rest on Monday in Salima and his funeral was graced by thousands of mourners from all walks of lives.
