South Africa-based Malawian prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) has dropped a gospel hip hop song ‘motivation’ yesterday.
The song talks about his passion to preach the gospel and bring salvation to people and also it encourages the youth to be for Christ whilst they are still young and grow in the walk of God.
The song depicts himself as young offenders with intention to associate himself with youth.
According the Public Relations Officer of Prophet Bushiri, Kelvin Sulugwe has also emphasized that the prophet desires to promote youths’ talent and make the word of God strong among them.
“The song Motivation is just there to motivate young rappers and inspire them to dream big. It’s not like he has started music or venturing the industry, he is just sending a message a of encourage to young people with talent,” he said.
Sulungwe added that this is just a as preparation to launch ‘Major 1 Rap Contest’ in Malawi where the winner will walk away with a car plus MK3 million.
Meanwhile, the song have pulled different reactions from his fans, some just said in simple term ‘last days’.
