Woman stabs husband to death after he caught her with another man

A Kenyan woman whose husband caught her having sex with another man has been arrested after she brutally stabbed the husband to death.

Nairobi News reports that the woman, Alice Wangu, stabbed her 39-year-old husband, Samuel Mwangi, to death during a confrontation after he allegedly caught her red-handed with another man at the Kiawara Township, Nyeri County area of Kenya.

Wangu, a bar attendant, reportedly told the police that she and her husband had separated following domestic issues prior to the deadly incident.

According to the report, the deceased who had moved to a different house decided to pay the suspect a visit in the evening of Monday, November 21, 2016, only to meet her in bed with another man.

An argument allegedly ensued between the three leading to Wangu picking up a kitchen knife and stabbed her estranged husband near the heart, killing him instantly.

After killing her husband, Wangu allegedly called some neighbours and confessed to the crime, leading to her arrest by the police and subsequent detention at the Kiawara police station.
