Man almost fainted in Lilongwe after buying timber board instead of intended plasma screen

A Lilongwe based business man nearly fainted after buying a 32 inch timber board instead of a plasma screen, faceofMalawi can reveal.

The development comes barely a year after another businessman from Ntcheu was robbed of over 20 bags of rice by unknown businessman through Facebook business group, popularly known as ‘Let’s do business Malawi’.

In what can be described as a well calculated move, the business players wrapped the fake plasma screen in a black plastic followed by a white plastic paper before putting the said plasma in a carton.

The fake plasma screen was then advertised on Lets do business Malawi facebook page where the unnamed man showed interest.

After some transaction, the man realized that a carton contains a 32 inch timber board instead of plasma.
